SU Women's Lacrosse Adds Stanford To Its Schedule

SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team will play Stanford University at Stanford, CA on Saturday, Feb. 23 in its 2002 season opener. Game time is set for 4 p.m., eastern time. The game was officially added to the 2002 schedule today.

The 15-game schedule features five games against teams that qualified for last season’s NCAA Tournament. Additionally, SU will play Pennsylvania, Towson and Ohio State in scrimmages at Pennsylvania on Sunday, February 17. After returning from the west coast, the Orangewomen will travel to Virginia to face the Cavaliers on Saturday, March 2. SU then returns home to play defending national-champion Maryland on Sunday, March 10 and NCAA runner-up Georgetown on Friday, March 15.
