Track & Field To Open Season at Penn State on Saturday

University Park, Pa. - The Syracuse University men's and women's indoor track & field teams will begin the 2002 campaign at Penn State in the United States Track Coaches Association Series Meet on Saturday, Jan. 12.
In addition to SU, Cornell, Howard, LaSalle, St. Joseph's, Seton Hall and Villanova will also be competing. The running events will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the women's 5,000-meter run. The field events begin with the women's 20-lb. weight throw at 11:00 a.m.
Results will be available on www.suathletics.com following the meet.
