Track Wraps Up First Outdoor Meet of '26

Jamir Brown set a personal-best in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 13.49 seconds to highlight the second day of the USF Alumni Invitational.

Brown handily won the prelims by nearly a half second. He scratched from competing in the final. Teammate Isaiah Hayes (14.16 seconds) was third in a career-best mark of his own.
Nicea Jones was fourth in the 400, posting a time of 54.01 seconds. Shayla Ford (56.79) took 23rd with a new career best.
Peyton Rollins set a new personal best in the 100-meter hurdles, taking ninth place overall, in 13.70 seconds. She missed advancing to the finals by 0.01 seconds. Tia Outlaw (13.76 seconds) was 13th, followed four spots later be Emeline Clark (13.86 seconds). Ivana Richards (15.01 seconds) rounded out the field.
In the flat 100, Indie Wallace-Persaud placed ninth after crossing the line in 11.69 seconds. Sierra Joseph finished in 12.09 seconds.
The Orange 4x100-meter relay team of Wallace-Persaud, Joseph, Rollins and Jones turned in a time of 45.95 seconds.
Syracuse is back in action next weekend at the Raleigh Relays.
