Senior Aleccia Boland (London, Ont./Banting) was the Orangewomen’s top finisher for the fourth time this season. Boland finished third of 191 runners with a time of 18:10. Senior Zelma Jackson (Aurora, Colo./A. Phillip Randolph) was 16th, finishing exactly one minute after Boland.
The Orangewomen finished third of 19 teams with 132 points. Two-time NCAA Division III champion Middlebury won on the women’s side with 18 points, and host Albany was second with 103 points. Marist was the top men’s team with 82 points, while the Orangemen finished with 195 point.
“I’m really happy with how the women ran today,” said cross country coach Jay Hartshorn. “The men, under the circumstances of missing several people, were very good.”
