
Eleven Softball Players Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Eleven members of the Syracuse softball team have been selected to the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll. The AD Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earn a 3.0-or-better grade point average for a semester.
Nine of the 11 players are repeat honorees. Juniors Julie Dunn (Springfield, Ill./Springfield), Cheryl Julicher (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville North), and Rachel Park (Mt. Juliet, Tenn./Friendship Christian) made their fifth honor roll in five semesters. Juniors Kristen Collins (Stow, Mass./Nashoba Regional) and Christina Holowich (Castro Valley, Calif./Moreau Catholic), along with senior Becky Snyder (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial) have each been named to the honor roll four times.
Three players are making their third appearance on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll - senior Heather Brown (Farmington, N.M./Central Arizona College), junior Tara DiMaggio (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) and sophomore Nikki Lincoln (Baton Rouge, La./Episcopal).
Freshmen Annie Corbelli (Amherst, N.Y./Amherst Central) and Tanya Rose (Milwaukie, Ore./Rex Putnam) were named to the list in their first semesters.
Syracuse opens the 2002 season on February 15 versus Maryland at the Seminole Classic hosted by Florida State.
