Junior Year: Finished the season with a .327 batting average, becoming the first SU player to bat .300 or better in two consecutive seasons … Set single season record for at-bats (159) … Hit SU’s first-ever leadoff home run vs. Wisconsin (3/16/02) … Was among team leaders in eight major offensive categories: 176 total plate appearances (1st), 159 at bats (1st), 52 hits (2nd), 27 runs (2nd), 11 stolen bases (2nd), 70 total bases (3rd), 10 doubles (3rd) and 14 walks (3rd) … Started and ended the season with career-best seven game hitting streaks … Hit safely in 18 of team’s first 23 games, hitting .365 during the stretch that opened the season … Tied for ninth in the BIG EAST with 11 stolen bases, stealing 6 bases during conference play (4th) … Hit .382 in BIG EAST games (8th) with 26 hits (3rd) and 14 runs scored (T-5th) … Started all 46 games of the season in center field and hitting leadoff … Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters … BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Sophomore Year: First player in SU history to be named to an all-conference team … Named second-team All-BIG EAST … Set SU single-season records in batting average (.316), at-bats (158), hits (50), triples (3), total bases (60), multiple-hit games (14), and games with three hits (5) … Led the team in slugging percentage (.380) and on-base percentage (.341) … One of three players to start all 47 games, and the only player to start all those games at the same position and the same spot in the lineup … Ranked 10th in the BIG EAST in triples … Sixth in the conference in BIG EAST play with .358 batting average … Tied for second in the conference in BIG EAST play with 24 hits (1.2 per game) … Tied for second in the league during conference play with two triples … During SU's final 26 games, she hit .391 with a team-leading .483 slugging percentage and a .411 on-base percentage … She also led the team during that stretch with 10 runs scored … Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI vs. Providence … Third on the team with a .971 fielding percentage, committing only one error in 35 attempts … Named the Athletic Director’s Honor roll for both semesters … BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
