FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Freshman Jenna Grimaldi (San Mateo, Calif./St. Ignatius) completed her season with a 16th-place finish in the high jump at the 2002 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship.

Grimaldi placed third among freshmen in the event, clearing 5'7.75". Senior Darnesha Griffith of UCLA won the high jump with a height of 6'0.75".

SU senior Opal Jones (Capitol Heights, Md./Bishop McNamara) finished 11th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.40.

Both the men's and women's track & field teams will begin the outdoor season when they travel to Miami, Fla., for the Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, March 16.
