Polidore and Adrian Post Double-Victories at Brown Invitational

Polidore won the 100-meters in a time of 10.61 and then won the long jump with a distance of 22'1.50". Adrian earned victories in the shot put (53'7.00") and discus (173'8.00"), while also qualifying for the BIG EAST Championship with a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw (162'11.00"). Fellow junior Joel Carusone (Slingerland, N.Y./Guilderland) won the pole vault, clearing 15'9.00".
Warren won the triple jump with a distance of 37'11.50" and placed third in the long jump in 17'9.50". Junior Aprelle Watkins (Virginia Beach, Va./Salem) won the long jump in 18'9.00". Freshman Nicole Kendrick (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) won the discus for the third consecutive meet with a throw of 165'0.00". Classmate Johvonne Hernandez (Port Isabel, Texas/Port Isabel) earned a victory in the shot put with a throw of 47'2.50" and qualified for the BIG EAST and ECAC Championships with a second-place effort of 166'7.00" in the hammer throw.
Syracuse will host the Judith and Leslie Vielbig Invitational at the Joe Vielbig Track at Lampe Athletics Complex on Sunday, April 21.
