SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore Kelly Duan of the Orangewomen volleyball team has been honored as the Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 6.

Duan was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall semester last year. This season, Duan is third on the squad with 168 kills and 503 attempts. She leads the Orange with 29 service aces, and ranks second with 187 digs. She also has 48 total blocks, the third-highest total on the team.

Duan and the Orangewomen host Rutgers and Seton Hall in a pair of BIG EAST matches this weekend. SU takes on the Scarlet Knights on Friday at 7:00 p.m., and plays the Pirates on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. All matches take place in Manley Field House, and admission is free.
