Korby Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore Ryan Korby of the Orangemen cross country team has been honored as the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 24.
Korby is a two-time member of the SU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. In 2003, he finished 29th at the Blue Devil Invitational with a time of 29:37.30, and he placed 18th in a dual race against Binghamton with a time of 28:51.33.
Korby and the SU cross country teams completed their season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships over the weekend. The Orangemen recorded their highest team finish, second, since the 1995 team won the event.
