McKay Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Junior Leah McKay of the Orangewomen field hockey team has been named the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 3.

McKay is a two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star, and has been on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three semesters. In 2003, McKay started 15 of the 16 games she played in and recorded one goal.

McKay and the Orangewomen finished their season with a 7-11 overall record and a 1-4 mark in the BIG EAST.
