Begley Honored as SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior Marisa Begley of the Orangewomen rowing team has been named the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 29.
Begley has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all six of her semesters at Syracuse. She is a three-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star. In the fall, Begley coxed the varsity eight to a second-place finish at the Stonehurst Invitational.
Begley and the Orangewomen competed in six events during the fall season. They return to the water on Saturday, March 27, when they host Boston University and Duke on Onondaga Lake.
