Diving Zone Meet

Three Orangemen Divers Compete at NCAA Zone Qualifying Meet

Syracuse sent all three of its men's divers to the 2003 NCAA Zone A Qualifying Meet on March 14 and 15 at the Alumni Arena Natatorium at the University at Buffalo.
Junior Rick Rodriguez (Long Beach, N.Y.) was SU's top finisher in the 1M event. He received a score of 197.10 and finished 20th out of 24 participants. All divers performed 11 dives.
Freshmen Tony Campagna (Liverpool, N.Y.) and Dewey Schultz (Sudbury, Mass.) also competed in the 1M event. Campagna totaled 193.35 points, while Schultz received a score of 192.45.
Schultz was Syracuse's top finisher on the 3M board. He was 20th out of 22 entrants with a score of 331.90. Campagna received 317.30 points, while Rodriguez totaled 300.90 points.
