No. 11 Orangewomen Host No. 12 Cornell Tonight

The series between Syracuse and Cornell (7-3, 2-2 Ivy League) is tied at 3-3. The Orangewomen last defeated Cornell at home, 9-7, on April 18, 2001.
The Orangewomen had its six-game winning streak snapped on Friday night with a 14-11 loss to Dartmouth. Junior Leigh-Ann Zimmer tied a career high with five goals. Sophomore Monica Joines extended her scoring streak to nine games with four tallies. Zimmer and Joines have combined for 34 of SU’s 53 goals in the last five games. Zimmer has already moved into sixth place on SU’s single-season goals list with 29 tallies.
Senior Kim Wayne needs three more points to move into third place on SU’s career points list. Wayne currently stands in fourth with 131 points on 54 goals and 77 assists.
