JV Eight Finishes Second in Petite Final At EARC Sprints

Senior Kevin Klein stroked the JV boat, and senior Peter Romano coxed the crew. Junior Adlai Hurt rowed from the bow.
SU's varsity eight was placed in the Third Level Final after finishing .04 seconds behind Boston University in the first heat of the morning. The Orangemen won the Third Level race in a time six seconds better than second-place Georgetown, 6:31.81.
Syracuse's freshman eight raced in the Petite Final and took fifth of six crews with a time of 6:41.64. SU had a time of 6:13.77 in the morning trials.
The Orangemen return to Onondaga Lake for their last home race of the season on Saturday, May 17. SU will face Dartmouth for the Packard Cup in the final dual race of the season.
