SU Promotes Weber to Assistant Athletic Trainer

A 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Weber earned her bachelors degree in movement science athletic training. She is currently pursuing her graduate degree in exercise science.
While at Pittsburgh Weber was a student athletic trainer from 1999-2002. During that time she worked at the University of Pittsburgh Holiday Swimming Invitational, the BIG EAST Volleyball Tournament, the Pittsburgh High School Basketball Championship and the EWL Wrestling Championship. She also served as assistant athletic trainer for the Pittsburgh Wrestling Club and several summer camps. Weber was the first aid room supervisor at the University of Pittsburgh Wellness center for two years. In 2000 Weber was a volunteer for the Pittsburgh Special Olympics and she served as a volunteer for the 2001 Pittsburgh Marathon.
Weber is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. She is also a member of the New York Athletic Trainer’s Society.
