Wishart Added to Canadian Junior National Team

Wishart earned first alternate status after finishing seventh among those eligible to compete at the event in the 2003 Canadian Cross Country Championship on Nov. 29 before being added to the national team last week.
The men’s junior world championship is an 8K race will be run at the Parc of Laeken, which is a grass track.
Wishart will participate in training camp at the Le Fraineuse training center in Spa, Belgium prior to the event.
Wishart was consistently one of SU’s top performers this season. He placed in the top 15 three times in 2003, including winning the men’s individual championship at the Orange Classic on Sept. 27. He was the Orangemen’s third finisher at the IC4A Championship (12th place) and the BIG EAST Championship (45th place).
