Bailie Picked to Northern Ireland National Team

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Junior Kelly Bailie has been selected to the Northern Ireland National Team. Bailie and her teammates will compete for the annual Algarve Cup in Portugal from March 14-18.
The Northern Ireland team is in a group with Wales, Greece and Portugal and the four teams will play a round-robin tournament format to determine who moves on to the next round of competition.
Baile, a midfielder born in Dundonald, N. Ireland, transferred to SU from Monroe County Community College prior to the 2003 season. She started 13 games for the Orangewomen in 2003 and notched four points on one goal and two assists. She also took the majority of the corner kicks for SU.
