Soccer's McCallion Honored as Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore midfielder Mike McCallion was named the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 5.
As a sophomore, McCallion started 16 of the 17 games he played in. He was a BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 2002, and is a two-time member of the SU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
McCallion and the Orangemen finished the 2003 season with a 4-8-5 overall record, and a 1-5-4 mark in the BIG EAST.
