Orange Football Youth Day is Saturday

All SU football fans ages 18-and-under can purchase tickets for the annual Youth Day price of $10 for the Orange's showdown with BIG EAST opponent Connecticut on Saturday, October 30 at 1:30 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Tickets are available at the Carrier Dome Box Office, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX), or on the internet (dometix.com).
Prior to the game the Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield Football Fun Zone, located on the Syracuse Quad, will open at 11:30 a.m. The SU cheerleaders are hosting a pre-game clinic for approximately 120 pre-registered youth cheerleaders on the quad 11:45-12:15. Prior to the game, the youth cheerleaders are going to perform cheers that they learned during the clinic on the fi eld pre-game (1:00-1:15 pm, east endzone). After completing the cheer, they will move to the tunnel area to welcome the football team onto the field.
Fans who stop by the Football Fun Zone before the game can receive a free Go Orange fabric patch, while supplies last. Featuring SU mascot Otto the Orange, the colorful, woven patch sticks to clothing and skin, but can easily be pulled off and reapplied.
In addition, all fans ages 12 and under can register at the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield tent on the quad to participate in the football version of “Dress Like the Orange” occurring on the field at the end of the first quarter. Special treats in celebration of Halloween will be available throughout the Fun Zone at participating tents.
