Kertzscher Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Junior Gustavo Kertzscher of the Orangemen swimming team is the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of February 16.
Kertzscher is a five-time member of the Syracuse Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star. Last weekend, Kertzscher finished second in the 100 backstroke and fourth in the 50 backstroke against Villanova.
Kertzscher and the Orange will compete at the BIG EAST Championship, Feb. 19-21, in Uniondale, N.Y.
