
Twelve Orangemen Soccer Players Earn Academic Honor Roll Status

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Eleven members of the Syracuse men’s soccer team were named to the SU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2003 semester. The AD Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a 3.0-or-higher grade point average for a semester.
A pair of seniors each earned honors for the seventh time. Ryan Hickey and Ari Schneider have each had a GPA of at least 3.0 for each of their semesters at Syracuse.
Senior Kirk Johnson earned the award for the fourth time. Six players were honored for the third time, including sophomore Matt Chew, sophomore Jeff Evans, sophomore Mike McCallion, junior Alejandro Nuno, sophomore Jorge Rodriguez and senior Chuck Sullivan. Sophomore Marcel Laniado was named to the honor roll for the second time, as was senior Chris Aloisi. Freshman Edvin Hot was named to the list for the first time.
