
Football Orangemen Earn Athletic Director's Honor Roll Recognition

Romeo and Scanlon, who were also named to the 2003 CoSIDA National Academic All-America teams for their outstanding effort in the classroom, have earned Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition in all nine semesters of their SU careers. Thomas, a three-time CoSIDA District I Academic All-American, is also a nine-time AD Honor Roll honoree. Senior Lenny Cusumano earned AD Honor Roll recognition for the seventh semester, while seniors Kevin Sampson and Alexander Ridore made the list for the fourth time.
Junior Matthew Tarullo earned the honor for the seventh consecutive semester, while fellow junior Justin Sujansky was reconized for the fourth time. Other juniors on the 2003 Fall AD Honor Roll include Gregory Hanoian, Todd Lisi, Nicholas Massaro, Julian Pollard, Jeremy Snyder and Adam Terry.
From the sophomore class, Kevin Alexander made the list for the third consecutive semester, while Jonathan Plato and Alex Shor were honored for the second time, and Stephen Franklin made his debut on the honor roll.
Redshirt freshman Timothy Washington was named for the third time. First-time freshman honorees included Jonathan Baselice, Hymnson Chan, Sean Flannery, Tommy Harris, Tony Jenkins, Andrew Johnson, Kevin Kopko, Daniel Lavia, Adam Namoury and Rotimi Paul.
The football Orangemen begin Spring practice on March 26. The annual Spring Game will be Saturday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. SU opens the 2004 schedule at Purdue on Sunday, Sept. 5.
