Flewelling Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore Brien Flewelling of the Orangemen track and field team is the SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 8.
Flewelling is a three-time member of the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll and a 2003 BIG EAST Academic All-Star. He finished eighth in the high jump at the BIG EAST Tournament with a jump of 1.91 meters. His best performance in the high jump came at the Cornell Relays where he recorded a leap of 2.01 meters.
The Orangemen finished the indoor portion of their schedule at the IC4A Championship over the weekend. SU’s first outdoor meet will be Saturday, March 20, at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
