SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse track and field team will compete at the Penn Outdoor Invitaitonal on Sunday, April 4, in its third meet of the spring outdoor season.

The Orange will test themselves against student-athletes from numerous teams, including Yale, Cornell, Villanova, Towson, Rider, LaSalle, Temple, Army, Navy, and Delaware State.

Last weekend, Syracuse competed at the Raleigh Relays. Junior All-America Jenna Grimaldi was named the ECAC Female Field Athlete of the Week after finishing second in the high jump with a leap of 1.77 meters. Her performance qualifies her for the NCAA Regional meet and was just 0.03 meters short of her own school record of 1.80 meters.

The field events at the Penn Inviational will begin at 10:00 a.m., and the running events will start at 10:15 a.m.
