Fans who renew their season tickets or purchase new season tickets receive a number of benefits, including the opportunity to immediately purchase individual home and away game tickets, and special ticket packages, including the “Double Play”. Fans can renew their season tickets on the internet (dometix.com), in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B), via the mail or via fax (315-443-3692).
Season ticket holder benefits also include a savings over the cost of single game tickets ($18 for adults and $19 for youth and SU students), and a VIP Season Ticket card, which provides preferred customer discounts to area businesses. In addition there will be two Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Days (Sept. 18 vs. Cincinnati and Nov. 6 vs. Pittsburgh), which provides the opportunity to purchase reduced priced individual game tickets ($20 for adults and $10 for youth).
As an added bonus this year, season ticket holders will receive a significant discount on the purchase of the SU football documentary, “The Legend of 44”. SU season ticket holders can order the DVD for $10 if they renew their tickets online or for $15 if they renew by mail before it goes on sale to the general public. Both prices include shipping and handling. When it is released this Fall, the DVD will retail for $19.95 plus tax. The “Legend of 44” chronicles the collegiate careers of three of the most prolific running backs in the history of football. Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little all wore the number 44 at Syracuse University while leading the Orangemen to unequaled success. The documentary features retrospective interviews and historic archive film footage and still photographs. It was produced and directed by Emmy Award winning filmmaker Roger Springfield.
The 2004 season ticket price is $160 for an adult season ticket, $70 for youth (18 and under, third level only), and $70 for SU students. SU is offering several ticket options this season, including specially-priced upper level end zone seats. Season tickets in these sections are $125. SU’s zealous fans can purchase a season ticket in the “O-Zone”, located in the first level east end zone. The area is designated for SU fans who have an interest in displaying spirit, standing up, leading cheers and being close to the action to inspire the team. Season tickets for this area are $160.
Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can start ordering on Saturday, April 24 at SU’s “Select Your Seat” Day prior to the Orangemen’s annual Spring Game. The Carrier Dome will open at 11:00 a.m. The Spring Game will begin at 1:30 p.m. There is no admission charge for either event. In addition, fans attending the Spring Game on April 24 can receive a free voucher to stay and attend the SU men’s lacrosse game against Albany, which will face off at 4:30 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. After April 24, fans should call or visit the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-DOMETIX).
