Countdown to Kickoff: SU on the Radio

The SU Radio Network Team includes new play-by-play voice Matt Park and color analyst Dick MacPherson, who will entertain Orange fans for all home and away games. Park is a 1997 SU graduate and MacPherson coached the Orange from 1981 to 1990. SU graduate Kevin Maher will host the pre-game and post-game shows, in addition to providing live reports from the sidelines throughout the game. A third Syracuse alum, Brian Higgins will be the feature reporter for the network.
SU fans can also tune into “The Paul Pasqualoni Show.” The show airs on Thursday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the Syracuse University Radio Network. The program will begin Thursday, September 2 and will continue throughout the season. During the week of SU’s game against West Virginia (Oct. 21), the show will be on Tuesday (Oct. 19). The final regular season show is scheduled for Tuesday, November 23 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
All Syracuse football games will be broadcast on the SU Radio Network, with WAQX-95.7FM in Syracuse serving as the flagship station. SU football and “The Paul Pasqualoni Show” can also be heard on ESPN Radio 1260 AM in Syracuse.

Located on the Syracuse University campus, WAER-FM88 will also carry all of the action of SU football. Jason Benetti is the sports directory.
Syracuse begins the season on Sunday, September 5 at Purdue. The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ABC. SU then plays at Buffalo on September 11 at 6:00 p.m. The Orange kicks off the home portion of the schedule on Saturday, September 18 against Cincinnati at 12:00 p.m. SU will also host Rutgers (Oct. 2 at 12:00 p.m.), Florida State (Oct. 9), Connecticut (Oct. 30) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 6).
