
Field Hockey Loses 4-0 Decision to Nationally-Ranked Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Adrienne Hortillosa scored two goals and Jessica Blake added a goal and an assist as the University of Michigan defeated the Syracuse field hockey team, 4-0. The Wolverines improved their season record to 3-2, while the Orange are now 1-3.
Senior goalkeeper Betsy Wagner played all 70 minutes in the cage and recorded 13 saves.
Michigan outshot Syracuse, 33-3. The Wolverines had 14 penalty corners, while the Orange had one.
Lindsay Peirson, Meredith Gettel and Jessica Dahle attempted shots for SU.
The Orange face Old Dominion at Michigan's home field on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m.
