PHILADELPHIA, PA. - The Syracuse volleyball team defeated St. Francis in the second match of the Sheraton/Penn Invitational, 3-1. After losing the first game, 22-30, SU came back to win the next three, 30-10, 30-23 and 30-20. SU is now 13-2 for the season.
Senior Morgan Jones and junior Kristen Conway each had 11 kills. Junior Aila Dommestrup recorded 32 assists in the match and had a team leading four service aces. Freshman Joscie Kaup led the SU defense making 19 digs.
The Orange concludes action in the Sheraton/Penn Invitational when it faces Penn at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26.
