Washington Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Tim Washington, a running back on the Orange football team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 27.
Washington was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all four of his semesters. He was also a 2003 BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection.
Syracuse hosts Rutgers Saturday, Oct. 2 at 12 p.m. The game will be the 25th meeting between the Orange and the Scarlet Knights. The Orange owns a 27-6-1 record versus Rutgers.
