Tarullo Shares His Thoughts on Gridiron Preparation

ORLANDO, Fla. – Syracuse senior Matt Tarullo has spent the last week in sunny Orlando as he prepared for The Villages Gridiron Classic. The Gridiron Classic will kickoff Saturday, January 15 at 11 a.m.
Tarullo gives fans an inside look into the life of an all-star college football player as he describes his week in a daily journal. From meeting with NFL scouts, to taking personality tests, to practice at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, Tarullo discusses what it is like giving an all out effort in hopes of making it to the next level.
Tarullo is the 11th SU football player selected to play in the Gridiron Classic. Syracuse has had at least one student-athlete selected to the game in all seven years of its existence. Tarullo has started 36 consecutive games and was named to the 2004 All-BIG EAST First Team. He moved to center this season after starting at guard in 2002 and 2003. He will play guard in the Gridiron Classic. The 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-American carries a 3.74 grade point average as a psychology major and speech communications minor.
The Gridiron Classic will be played Saturday, January 15 in The Villages, Fla. The seventh-annual game will kickoff at 11:00 a.m. and will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
