Lipton Selected Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Ashley Lipton, a member of the tennis team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 24.
Lipton was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the fall and spring semester last year. She was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star as a freshman and selected as an ITA Scholar Athlete. Lipton is majoring in broadcast journalism.
The tennis team begins the 2005 season on Wednesday, January 26 against Colgate. The match will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Drumlins.
