SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Brittany Pryor was named the ECAC Field Athlete of the week after her performance at the BIG EAST Championships. She tallied a first-place finish and two second-place finishes.

Pryor earned the Big East Conference outdoor crown in the discus with a throw of 50.42m this past weekend at Rutgers University. Pryor also finished second in the shot put and hammer throw with tosses of 14.89 and 53.85 meters. She was named the Women's Most Outstanding Field Performer for her performance. Pryor earned NCAA qualifying marks in the discus and the shot put.

The Orange track and field teams head to the ECAC/IC4A Championships this weekend, May 12-15, at Princeton University.
