SU Football Game Against Buffalo Set for 3:30 p.m.

Kickoff for Syracuse’s game against Buffalo on Saturday, September 10 is set for 3:30 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The game, which is Military and Emergency Service Day and Youth Day, will be the seventh between the Orange and the Bulls. Syracuse beat Buffalo, 37-17, last year in Buffalo, and defeated UB, 63-7, in the 2000 season-opener in the Carrier Dome. The 2005 Orange will kickoff the season against West Virginia on “Opening Day” in the Carrier Dome on Sunday, September 4 at 1:30 p.m. in a game that will be televised nationally on ABC. Syracuse will also host Virginia (Dome 25th Anniversary Celebration, September 17 at Noon), Rutgers (Legends Day, October 15), Cincinnati (Fan Appreciation Day and Parents Weekend at Noon) and South Florida (#44 Retirement and Homecoming, November 12).

     The Oranges play its five road games at Florida State (October 1), at Connecticut (October 7) at Pittsburgh (October 22), at Notre Dame (November 19, NBC) and at Louisville (November 26).
