Jenkins Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Tony Jenkins, a member of the Orange football team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 12.
Jenkins, a defensive tackle, was a member of the 2003 Fall and 2004 Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. He is majoring in general management studies.
SU, coming off of a 31-0 win against Buffalo last weekend, hosts Virginia on Saturday on ESPN2. Kickoff is set for noon.
