SU Football Game at #6/7 Florida State Set for 3:30 p.m. on ABC

Syracuse University’s football game at #6/7 Florida State on Saturday, October 1 will be televised regionally on ABC. Kickoff time is set for 3:30 p.m. The Syracuse-Florida State series began in 1966 with a 37-21 Orange victory in Archbold Stadium The teams have met four times since then with FSU winning all four. In 2004, Syracuse lost to eighth-ranked Florida State, 17-13, in the Carrier Dome.
After SU’s game at FSU, the Orange will play at the University of Connecticut on October 7 (8:00 p.m., ESPN2) before returning to the Dome to host Rutgers on October 15. Syracuse will also host Cincinnati (October 29) and South Florida (November 12).
The Orange play its other four road games at at Pittsburgh (October 22), at Notre Dame (November 19, NBC) and at Louisville (November 26).
