Flaherty Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Jake Flaherty, a member for the Orange football team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 13.
Flaherty, who hails Wakefield, R.I., has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll two times and the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team in 2005. He is enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences.
The Orange hosts its final home game of the season on Saturday. Syracuse will face Connecticut at noon in the Carrier Dome and the game can be seen on ESPN Regional.
