Bandits Sign Former Orange All-American Brett Bucktooth

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) signed former SU standout Brett Bucktooth on Friday, Dec. 1. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bucktooth was the third overall pick by the Bandits in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.
Bucktooth was a two-time All-American for the Orange and he led the team in scoring with 55 points during his senior season. He helped the team to three national semifinal appearances in his career and was a member of SU’s 2004 national championship team.
In addition to signing Bucktooth, the Bandits also reached deals with Delby Powless and Kyle Laverty on Dec. 1.
Buffalo will open its season on Dec. 30 against the Portland LumberJax.
