Women's Rowing To Compete In Eastern Sprints On Sunday

CAMDEN, N.J. - The Syracuse women's rowing team will compete in the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 14, at Cooper River in Camden, N.J. Last season at the regatta, the Orange finished eighth with the varsity eight taking fifth place in its race.
Two weeks ago at the BIG EAST Championship, SU finished third with 76 points. Notre Dame won its third-consecutive conference title and Louisville finished second. The Irish totaled 122 points to the Cardinals’ 103. The varsity eight placed third in the grand final with a time of 6:41.55 and the novice eight won with a time of 6:54.97.
