
An Orange Invitation for Senior Citizens

Syracuse University athletics is extending a special ticket offer for senior citizens to enjoy the 2006 Orange football game against Miami (OH) on September 23 in the Carrier Dome. Fans who are 60 and older are invited to purchase $12 tickets for the game. Syracuse’s game against Miami (OH) is a rematch of the first-ever event held in the Dome. On September 20, 1980, the Orange beat Miami (OH), 36-24, before a record crowd of 50,564 fans.
Senior citizen tickets are available at the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-DOMETIX) and online (click here). Fans who purchase the Senior Citizen tickets will be asked to show ID on game day.
In addition, fans can purchase season tickets, which begin at $144, and individual game tickets for the remaining five home games.
The Orange will open the 2006 season at Wake Forest on September 2. Orange fans will have the first opportunity to see the team at home on September 9 when Syracuse welcomes Iowa to the Carrier Dome.
Every home game will feature a special theme, including:
September 9 vs. Iowa “Opening Day” and “Military & Emergency Services Day”
September 23 vs. Miami (OH) “Fan Appreciation Day”, “Youth Day” and “Senior Citizen Day”
September 30 vs. Wyoming “Legends Day”
October 7 vs. Pittsburgh “Homecoming”
October 21 vs. Louisville “Courage Day”
November 18 vs. Connecticut “Celebrate NY Day”
