
"Syracuse Sidelines" Season Premiere Airs Thursday

The new season of "Syracuse Sidelines" kicks off Thurday night. The season premiere airs at 7 p.m. on Time Warner Sports Channel 26 throughout the Syracuse Division of Time Warner Cable. The first show of the season will originate from the Iocolano-Petty Football Wing. Host Mark Larson and head coach Greg Robinson will discuss Syracuse's preparations for the 2006 campaign during pre-season camp and provide a scouting report on Wake Forest.
The show will include an interview with offensive coordinator Brian White who is in his first season as a member of the Orange coaching staff. Fans will also hear from seniors #Perry Patterson# and #Kelvin Smith#, while Chris Watson will detail some new features at the Carrier Dome.
A new segment of the show, "Orange Athletics Spotlight", makes its debut this week. This week's featured team is the Syracuse men's soccer squad that won its season-opener against Niagara. Following a contest at Loyola on Friday, the Orange returns to the Soccer Stadium at the Lampe Athletics Complex on Labor Day for a contest against Albany at 1 p.m.
"Syracuse Sidelines" will replay Thursday at 10:30 p.m. Additional replays are scheduled for Friday at 6:30 and 11:00 p.m. (this week only) on Time Warner Sports throughout the Syracuse Division of Time Warner Cable. The show is also scheduled to replay Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
