Four Syracuse teams competed during the week of Jan. 15 through Jan. 21. During the week, the Orange emerged victorious on the basketball court, set school records in the pool and qualified for championships on the track.
Swimming & Diving
The Syracuse swimming and diving teams competed in a dual meet against Boston University this past weekend. The men recorded a victory against the Terriers while the women's team lost. Graduate student Alida DiPlacido set two school records for the Orange.

Women's Basketball (8-12, 2-5 BIG EAST)
The women's basketball team lost a pair of games this past week. The Orange opened the week with a loss to RV/25 Pittsburgh and then lost at Notre Dame. Against Pittsburgh, junior Vaida Sipaviciute became the 20th player in school history to record 900 career points.
