Palas Named Scholar Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Jake Palas, a member of the Orange men’s track and field team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 22.
Gollands, a native of Asheville, N.C., is a three-time BIG EAST Academic All Star and a six-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. He is majoring in television, radio and film.
The Orange is in action at the Penn State National Open on Saturday at 10 a.m.
