SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men’s soccer team will make its first national TV appearance in school history on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Syracuse will face St. John’s at home at 7:00 p.m. in a match that will air live on ESPNU.
“We recruit nationally and to have this exposure is great for the program,” Orange head coach Dean Foti said. “And it’s good for the parents and families of our current guys to have the opportunity to watch the game live.”
ESPNU is available on Time Warner Cable in the Syracuse area. It is channel 108 on the company’s digital cable lineup.
The match is one of two BIG EAST soccer contests ESPNU will televise this fall. The Rutgers-St. John’s game on Oct. 24 will also be carried by the network.
The Orange is 4-3-3 overall this season and will play Rutgers in Piscataway, N.J. on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 5:00 p.m.
