Senior Jawad Nesheiwat is serving as veteran leader of the Syracuse tight ends this season. The Poughkeepsie, N.Y. native has four catches for 127 yards and one touchdown through the first five games of the season. Nesheiwat will be featured on this week's edition of "Syracuse Sidelines". The show airs every Thursday at 7 p.m. on Time Warner Sports Channel 26.
Head coach Greg Robinson and host Mark Larson will review highlights from Syracuse contest at Miami (OH), and look ahead to Saturday as Syracuse prepares to take on BIG EAST rival West Virginia. The “Time Capsule” series that looks back at the Orange's 1987 unbeaten season continues this week.
This Saturday in the Carrier Dome more than 30 members of the 1987 squad will be recognized during halftime of Syracuse's game against #13/12 West Virginia (12:00 p.m., ESPN Regional).
