Redshirt freshman Jim McKenzie, the starting center on the Orange football squad, will be featured as the scholar-athlete of the week on the "Inside the BIG EAST." The show will air nationally on ESPNU on Friday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m.

McKenzie, a native of Springfield, Pa., has started 10 consecutive games since replacing an injured Marvin McCall against Iowa on Sept. 8. McKenzie redshirted in 2006 and was a member of the 2006 Fall and 2007 Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll. He is majoring in biochemistry.

Upstate New York residence can view the show locally on MSG starting Friday at 5 p.m. The show will re-air on the network six hours later at 11 p.m. and again on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 11:30 a.m.
