Flynn, Greene In Rivals.com Frosh Ratings

SYRACUSE, NY -- First-year performers Jonny Flynn and Donte Greene have both been ranked in the Rivals.com 5-Star Freshman Tracker. The poll reviews the progress of the top players of the recruiting class of 2007. Greene is the ninth spot and Flynn 22nd out of 28 players who were rated.
Greene, who was the "Featured 5-Star Freshman" in the December 13 Rivals.com story, is Syracuse's leading scorer after nine games (18.2 ppg.). He has started all nine outings and is averaging a club-best 2.3 blocks-per-game. His 8.6 rebound mark is second on the squad. Greene has owned or shared game scoring honors for the Orange in six contests.
Flynn has also been with the first unit for all of Syracuse's nine games to date. He's averaging 6.2 assists an outing to lead the squad and ranks third in scoring average (14.6 ppg.).
Flynn and Greene were teammates on the 2007 USA Basketball Under-19 Team that earned a silver medal at the World Championship.
