ATLANTA – Syracuse University women’s basketball signee and Murry Bergtraum H.S. senior Erica Morrow has been selected to participate in the 16th annual Women’s Basketball Coaches Association High School All-America Game presented by Nike.
The 20 high school seniors who have been chosen will be divided into two teams of ten players. The college-style regulation game is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, at Cleveland State University’s Woodling Gym in Cleveland, Ohio. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 4:30 p.m. (ET). This highly-anticipated event is part of the WBCA National Convention, which takes place at the site of the NCAA Women’s Final Four.
“It is a great honor to be selected to play in the WBCA All-America Game,” said Syracuse University head women’s basketball coach Quentin Hillsman. “Our program is proud to be associated with and have a player be a part of this prestigious event.”
Morrow and the rest of the Murry Bergtraum H.S. Lady Blazers are the No. 1 seed in this season’s A Division “AA” Public Schools Athletic League playoffs in New York City. Morrow, who is averaging 21.1 points, 5.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds, has led the Lady Blazers to a 22-0 mark this year.
