Syracuse women's basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack has added transfer Sarah Rambus, who spent three seasons with Oregon. Rambus will be immediately eligible for the 2026-27 season.
"We are fortunate to have Sarah commit to our program," Syracuse Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack said. "We love her energy, ability to run the floor and her tenacity of purpose. We are building our program brick by brick! With Sarah's commitment we believe she stands for our CAB: character, academics, basketball. Orange Nation, please help me welcome Sarah to our Orange family."
Rambus arrives in Syracuse after appearing in 100 games over three seasons in Eugene, finishing her Oregon career on the strongest note yet. In 2025-26 she posted career-highs across the board, averaging 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game across 36 appearances while shooting a career-best 53.7 percent from the field. Her development over three seasons tells the story clearly — she improved her field goal percentage in each year she spent with the Ducks, climbing from 41.4 percent as a freshman to 48.9 percent as a sophomore before reaching 53.7 percent in her final season. She totaled 457 points, 210 rebounds, 55 assists and 30 blocks over the course of her Oregon career.
A native of Flushing, Mich., Rambus was ranked No. 66 overall and rated a four-star prospect in the espnW Class of 2022 Top 100. She was the top-rated player in the state of Michigan and the 11th-ranked forward in her graduating class. She spent the first three years of her prep career at Flushing High School, where as a junior, she averaged 16.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 1.7 steals and 1.4 assists per game and earned AP Division I all-state first-team honors. She helped lead Flushing to an 18-4 record and the Flint Metro League championship that season, shooting 49.5 percent from the field. Prior to her senior year, she transferred to IMG Academy in Florida to continue her development before arriving at Oregon.
Rambus joins a Syracuse program coming off one of its most successful seasons under Legette-Jack — a 24-9 record, a tie for fifth in the ACC at 12-6, and an NCAA Tournament appearance.
