Six Syracuse teams competed during the week of Feb. 19-25. The 15th-ranked Orange women's lacrosse team opened its season and joined the others SU teams in competition. The week also saw other first for the 2007 season, including softball head coach Leigh Ross earning her first victory at Syracuse.
Women's Lacrosse (0-1, 0-0 BIG EAST)
The women's lacrosse team opened the season at sixth-ranked Dartmouth on Saturday. The 15th-ranked Orange lost a hard-fought battle with the Big Green, 11-10.

The Orange won its first game of the year at the adidas-Golden Panther Invitational. It was the first victory for head coach Leigh Ross at Syracuse. Erin Gray was named to the All-Tournament team.
